Cacique Mining (GEGI-OTC) is pleased to announce it has completed the Gomez Plata ramp up and refurbished its infrastructure. All grading has been completed and the essential cone crusher and jaw crusher equipment have been completely refurbished. The site has installed the electrical supply for the mechanization of the entire project. The addition of a pneumatic shovel will reduce cycle requirements by 50%. The internal bins that feed the mine cars as well as the rail lines have been set up.
Juan David Perez Schile, CEO, comments, “We have worked very hard to put the infrastructure in place to begin extraction. Our team is extremely pleased with the result and how quickly we were able to accomplish it. The whole process validates our strategy of finding existing projects instead of starting from scratch. With gold prices on the rise, our efforts only go to strengthen our bottom line.”
